For our production we have been playing an intro video from Pro Presenter but running everything else through our Carbonite switcher and Xpression. In an attempt to become more efficient, we connected Xpression to our switcher and started operating everything from the switcher. We tried to play our intro video from Xpression but the audio was too loud and crackled. We are using the same file that Pro Presenter had no issues with but Xpression is not cooperating. It is not an issue with our sound board or connection, and the audio is embedded in the video so I cannot adjust the audio using scene director. Is there a way to adjust the sound level for this video in Xpression?

If you click the little arrow beside the eyeball of a scene director track you can keyframe the audio levels.

you need at least one key frame in order to adjust the levels.

Hello, reviving this thread. I'm on XPression v9.0, and when you use keyframes in this manner, it only adjusts the alpha of the video. It does not adjust the audio volume. #XPression
