Hello all, I have some scenes that display twitter comments and avatars (via Datalinq xml file) which works great! The producer now wants to be able to save some tweets for a backup purpose. I use the "Change Datalinqs to Static text" command which works great on the text but makes the avatar go away. Is there even a way I can convert the datalinqed avatar image into a static image? Maybe via scripting? Thanks.

Unfortunately that isn't possible right now.
Can you export the graphic out of XPression as a still image (PNG/TGA) instead for backup purposes?

I know this thread is older but it is the closest issue I could find to my question. 

I there an scripting option available to change between the "WIDGET" tab and the "STATIC" tab in the Take Inspector for a Published Text Object?

I have a large number of Take Items tied to Widgets in my sequencer and I would like to script a macro that switches a specific Text Object from Widget to Static.
