  • 1.  TeamViewer from Mac into XPression - Fast Recall doesn't work

    Due to COVID-19, we have a graphics operator working remotely and using TeamViewer to remote desktop into the XPression machine. All is well except the operator cannot use Fast Recall. It's enabled, but pressing keys on the NumPad of the remote computer doesn't initiate a Fast Recall.

    The remote operator is on a Mac, and we're wondering if that's something to do with it? If we try the same exact configuration with a PC on the remote end, it works fine.

    Does anyone have any thoughts?

    I believe this issue was resolved after contacting Tech Support and was fixed by making some edits to the XPression Keyboard Map.
    XPression > Edit > Keyboard Map

    This seems to be an issue with TeamViewer in MacOS that it sends "numpad 1" as just "key 1" to Windows over the remote connection so XPression does not receive the correct keys for fast recall.

    To bypass TeamViewer's bug, you could try running TeamViewer Webclient in Safari. Their web client seems to send the correct keys for Fast Recall to work.
