    #XPression

When you have created a long list of names in Global List, is there a way of ordering these alphabetically so when you come to use the list in sequence, it's easier to find a name?

    Thanks

Well, if you export the list, you get a text file. Put that, for example, in Excel, do you sort over there, re-save the content in the text file and import it back to the global list in XPression. Remember to get the header-texts back on top before importing the list ;-).
Handy would be if you have the names also separated in a column "Firstname" and a colomn "Lastname". You don't have to use those, but it is easier sorting that way... XPression will create those columns for you when you import the text file.

Thanks Rob, that's useful to know.

So each time I add names to the Global list, I need to do this process, export list, reorder in Excel and re-import?

    Cheers

Or you can just make your lists externally in the first place and import or you can actually just tie the list permanently to a datalinq. and manage it that way.
