I have 3 clips that already animate on to screen and then fall into place.
I am wanting to stagger these 3 clips so there is about 20 frames in between each one comes on screen.
Probably a silly question but how do I go about doing this?
    Thanks!

With the information provided here are a couple guesses for you.
      1. You could put a script in the scene director where the video clips are playing out of.  Define each quad that the videos are attached to as materials in the scene.  Then make sure that the video material that it is attached to is not set to auto start, and then have your script actually start the video at the frame in the scene director where you want it to do that.
      2. If you bring your materials into the scene director themself, then they would play when that scene director play head position gets to there. - This way is a little less flexible if the scene has changing videos.  This is more the workflow if the video that is always being used.
Sorry that the attached image is rotated, blame the website.  This is a basic version of a script that I have used to accomplish this.  The script was an event placed on the scene director and not on an object in the object manager. - The extra pauses at the bottom of the script are in theory overkill.  It was more so just a backup to make sure that the videos came onto the scene and were not playing yet.

Many many ways to do this, Garrett's got the scripting and scene director methods covered.

Another way would be to put the videos into the Sequencer as take items. Where each video is its own take item. You could do that by either dragging and dropping from file browser into the Sequencer, or you could create a "drop scene" with a published background object and put that into the Sequencer multiple times and change the face of the published quad with the different videos. You can change the take items to all be on different layers of the same output.

Put all the take items into their own new Sequencer group and change the Playout Mode of the Sequencer Group to "Timed" and change the Item Timing to "Fixed Item Duration" and set the frames field to 20.

Now if you put this Sequencer Group online it will automatically advance through the take items in the group.

If I am oversimplifying forgive me. If all three clips are going to run from the same scene all you would have to do is drag the videos to the scene director and depending on where you place it you could time it to play in sequence with 20 frames between them. You would have to turn off the autoplay function is you have it checked. But you could load as many clips in a scene and have them play in series.

    Hi.
Yes that is exactly what I ended up doing. And it worked.
Thank you all for the help.
