  • 1.  Change color of fonts

    Hi all...  another thing I was shown in xpression training that has slipped my mind...  how do I give text color?  Its done through the font manager but can't figure it out.  Thanks a bunch!

    You need to edit the font material. Inside the font manager you'll see it says edit material underneath face, boarder etc.

    The other thing that you can do is that if you have colors as materials such as red, yellow, blue, etc... then when you are typing in text in the sequence side you can do {M:Yellow}texthere.  Be careful with doing this if you are using the text as a text macro because then it will throw that off.  But you could pre append a datalinq with {M: "material name"} and it will change the face of the font. - the other way of doing this is to have the fonts already made and just put {55} font number.  So every time that you add a font into your project Xpression assigns it a number.  Then you can call on that number from the sequence side of things.
