    Hey All,

I'm currently evaluating purchasing XPression as part of a greater equipment purchase and I am searching for an answer to something obscure. In our graphics we're designing for a new package for our network, we're using Halyard with specific OTF stylistic sets turned on. If you're not familiar with stylistic sets, they allow for different options for font creators for alternate stylings of text.

Recently, we had issues with our other solution where we couldn't use stylistic sets, which is a hard requirement for the branding set by our graphic design team. My question is, does XPression have support for enabling OTF stylistic sets, or should I bite the bullet and go to the font designer to have fonts built to include the stylistics we need "turned on" by default?

    Hi Taylor,
It seems no one has an answer for this one. I haven't got any fonts like that on our XPression machine to see if you can do this, but I'd be very surprised if you could.
Maybe with my reply, we may get someone to respond who knows? I'd be very interested to know if this can be done too.

    Hi @Bonanza,
I'm fairly certain that XPression supports OTF stylistic sets, but I think that since this is very specific and an important requirement for you that it would be best if it was tested.
If you email me at I send you a trial version of XPression to try your font with, or you could send me the font and I could try it.
