    #XPression

    Hey all,
Second attempt to post about this; first very long post totally crashed on me.

I'm having a weird issue with some new Visual Logic that I'm using to update an older project in order to make very specific Datalinq blocks more dynamic.
I tested this lookup and it should work just fine.

I use this new block of logic as a base, then different blocks of Datalinq lookups modify from there, <@i_firstExotic@+0> +1, +2, etc.

Within the graphics though, these blocks don't want to flow through all the way to screen immediately.
If I write in a Data Key and press Enter, most of the graphics take, but they are incorrect/not complete:

Then, if I select and press Enter on the Data Key again, no changes, they graphics will correct themselves (notice above the "Exacta" block is missing, and below it returns and pushes the following bets down, correctly):

    Another similar example below:

This works similarly on the production side (without a way to re-trigger the Data Key and get the correct data) and I've tried tweaking and moving where the Visual Logic resides to no avail.

My first post was more descriptive, but hopefully I still got the point across!
Appreciate any insight on this and am happy to clarify or gather any other info.
    Thanks!

Is it just in preview you have an issue or on-air as well?

    Hey Simon,
I mentioned near the end there, but yes, it also happens on-air. Along with the downside that I can't just retrigger the Data Key to push it again to grab the right data.
In some circumstances (depending on how my masks and transitions are working in that template), you can actually see the data update to the correct state when a pause is resumed and the graphics are transitioning off-air.

May I have a look at the scene?

    Sure thing,
Would you like to remote in?
It's a bit complex to share since it's using data from our server and run over Dashboard.

You can feel free to email me at mdemarco@rcnmail.com

Hey all, @Red and I never actually figured this out and I just ended up working around it at the time, but I've run into it again, potentially with more info, so I thought I would revisit this thread.

It's actually the same scene as before, but I'm doing different work on it now many months later.

I actually have a certain logic tab done two different ways; one is working perfectly, and the other is having the same issues where it takes multiple pushes to get all the data updated on screen.

The only difference between these two logic tabs is the actual queries being made by the Datalinq blocks.

The working one looks like this:

And the non-working ones look like this:

Through the process of building and small tweaks, the only thing I can figure is the issue lies with the double filter happening on 'PriceRecord' where both the poolID and results are controlling the query.

Has anybody else seen this sort of issue or glean if I'm doing something wrong?

    Thanks!
