When you set up the XPression machine and choose "create new parameter" for that IP and Port, that's all you really need.
Go into edit mode, click the "params" button (the counter clockwise button bellow NDI), choose "Text", drag out a field and choose the parameter name you gave to the Xpression IP from "Existing Parameter" list.
Voila! You should have a text field where you can change the target IP of the Xpression machine.
Any Xpression API calls will then try to send their commands to the IP in that text field.

Subject: xpression ip address as parameter
What is the best way to set up a dashboard so that the end user can use that dashboard in various places by entering the ip address of the xpression. I have added the API of a specific xpression and created a new parameter of that ip address. But I don't know how to go from here. I want to enter in the ip of a new machine and run my dashboard in a remote truck as opposed to my home system.
Thanks in advance
