That is a valid point, I can't see a way to tell it which scene to check though, perhaps it checks scenes on the same layer? I did a little experiment and it only seem to do what I wanted when it was a copy of itself. ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer ...

This scene and other scene refers to a copy of itself. So when you take the same scene online it looks for that text box to compare. I don't think it checks other scenes, only copies of itself. ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer Ross Video Bristol United ...

You could try this. Make yourself a custom keymap that's always in XPression. I've made one here called RED. Add a script action. (Make sure its in Global and not Project Shortcuts) Set it to be fired by a GPI so external device such as a ross switcher or dashboard can fire it or something like ...

I would think about this in a different way. Make an animation that brings the quad visible or invisible and then use onset text the way you did before except you'll want an if statement. 'this checks if its an empty string or not If text = "" Dim dir As xpSceneDirector scene.GetSceneDirectorByN ...

I must admit I do not, I don't use Graphite very often as I am most often using Tessera for my projects. Its often worth asking Graphite questions in the Switcher forum as well. My guess would be drivers or software version but this is certainly something you can contact techsupport@rossvideo.com ...

It's not, if you are using 32bit XPression the reporting on the splash screen is incorrect. If you use a 64bit version of XPression it will report the memory correctly. ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer Ross Video Bristol United Kingdom --------- ...

Interesting idea. Sadly there's no pause or wait that you can put in the script. ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer Ross Video Bristol United Kingdom ------------------------------

Yeah basically the bit you want to delay move to a scene director. You can put a script even on a scene director. ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer Ross Video Bristol United Kingdom ------------------------------

Move the second part of your script to a scenedirector at frame 1 or 2. Trigger the scene director in the last part of your script. It should give you enough time then. ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer Ross Video Bristol United Kingdom ---------- ...

ok I have a solution for you, it requires a key press which is currently set to ctrl+1 but you can change. When the scene comes online it also checks itself for the latest datalinqkey. You'll see the scene has changed a bit as well. This is so preview still works. The other scripts are just hiding ...

Ah so I understand the data is static and you are just changing the datalinqkey. The live data is when the data source is actually changing so datalinqkey won't affect it. I'll see if I can find a solution. ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer Ross Video ...
