As Mal said you just write a bunch of if statements. Dim dir As xpSceneDirector If text = "BLUE" scene.GetSceneDirectorByName("BLUEDIRECTOR", dir) dir.Play() end if If text = "YELLOW" scene.GetSceneDirectorByName("YELLOWDIRECTOR", dir) dir.Play() end if and so on, there are more efficient ways ...

Thanks Brandon, good to know, I'm still on 10.5 so that makes sense I couldn't find it. Nick is it possible for you to upgrade at this time? ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer Ross Video Bristol United Kingdom ------------------------------

I literally tested that as I wrote it and it worked perfectly for me so I would say there's an error somewhere else in your script. ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer Ross Video Bristol United Kingdom ------------------------------

5760x1080 would be 3 outputs tied together side by so ideally you should use Tessera. However, you could try tile mapper, which will allow you to stack multiple outputs side by side or vertically to make one large canvas. It will require all 3 of your outputs to do this and you will need to wire ...

xpTakeItem.ID Its a read and write property. So this example would renumber the take ID. dim take2 as xpTakeItem engine.sequencer.getTakeItemByID(1000,take2) take2.ID = 2000 ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer Ross Video Bristol United Kingdom ...

That is a valid point, I can't see a way to tell it which scene to check though, perhaps it checks scenes on the same layer? I did a little experiment and it only seem to do what I wanted when it was a copy of itself. ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer ...

This scene and other scene refers to a copy of itself. So when you take the same scene online it looks for that text box to compare. I don't think it checks other scenes, only copies of itself. ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer Ross Video Bristol United ...

You could try this. Make yourself a custom keymap that's always in XPression. I've made one here called RED. Add a script action. (Make sure its in Global and not Project Shortcuts) Set it to be fired by a GPI so external device such as a ross switcher or dashboard can fire it or something like ...

I would think about this in a different way. Make an animation that brings the quad visible or invisible and then use onset text the way you did before except you'll want an if statement. 'this checks if its an empty string or not If text = "" Dim dir As xpSceneDirector scene.GetSceneDirectorByN ...

I must admit I do not, I don't use Graphite very often as I am most often using Tessera for my projects. Its often worth asking Graphite questions in the Switcher forum as well. My guess would be drivers or software version but this is certainly something you can contact techsupport@rossvideo.com ...

It's not, if you are using 32bit XPression the reporting on the splash screen is incorrect. If you use a 64bit version of XPression it will report the memory correctly. ------------------------------ Simon Redmile Senior Graphic Programmer & Designer Ross Video Bristol United Kingdom --------- ...
